Hello, my name is Rohit Rajpurohit, and in this article I'll discuss the need for coaching for the UPSC. Since the world is full of resources that are available to everyone, including the internet, coaching serves a similar purpose. Therefore, in order to determine whether coaching is necessary or not, we must first understand what it actually accomplishes. Let's look at what coaching actually offers.  

                                       || What does coaching provide ||  

                                          1) COACHING PROVIDES CLASS NOTES 

 alright if coaching provides class notes by taking fees in lakhs and a guy from a small town is able to get the same notes of coaching free from many websites and telegram and coaching themselves are providing their class notes on online e commerce portal like amazon flipkart so this points is not valid for joining the coaching.

                            2) COACHING HELPS IN CLEARING THE CONCEPTS : 

THE same thing is available on youtube for free i can give you thousands of channel and websites which helps you in clearing your concepts of any subject via video classes like for Geography unacademy anirudh malik sir has an full series of ncert with detail concept understanding videos which are better then coaching and same like there are many websites and youtube channel who gives lectures with upsc terms so concept clearence is very easy and possible and far better then coaching who takes lakhs of rupees as fees.  

                                           3) COACHING PROVIDES TEST SERIES 

Coaching provides test series and give you a best feedbacks on your answer thats really true but for sake of test series we cant pay lakhs of fees and some even cant afford so we should join coaching only for test serires the answer is no there are plenty of website on websites which provides test series course at low price and some provide at free of cost and you can buy many test series from different institutes which will boost your preparation.

                                    4) Can coaching assure you a Rank

Any coaching in this world cannot assure you a rank, only you and yourself can provide a rank for you by working hard, working smart will help you crack this exam so just be focused on your exam make a strategy by your self by getting guidence from mentors available on website you can also look in to my another blog which talk about the strategy on how to start upsc preparation.

                                       5)SHOULD WE JOIN COACHING OR NOT

 Finally it all depends on you because the resources may be available, everything is available outside the coaching but though if you are okay in spending the lakhs for paying fees and you and your family are willing to pay then you may go for coaching option but if there is some trouble in fees and really if you arrange the fee also then everythings depends on you becasue if we see some last 5 to 6 year data trends the number of selection of upsc students majority belongs to self study which himslef is an answer of should we join coaching will coaching will guarntee my rank then there is big dought because everything is on our preparation if you are not willing to work hard then no one can provide your rank and if you are working hard then you may crack this exam with self study all you need is a good strategy so for startegy i have an another blog which discuss on how to start our upsc prepartion i hope that blog will help you enough.
